· WG = Working Groups

· Top shade (WG1, WG1.1, WG1.2, WG2) - open groups, i.e. information is open to all European organisations and is published.

· Bottom shade (WG3.x, WG4) - Data Groups or restricted groups, i.e. - industrial data belongs to the contributors and to the group. These groups collate, exchange and analyse data. WG1 sets the rules and provides guidelines for this data collection/ treatment.
